January 2020 was HOT for new CDO/CAO hires!
I started the CDO Club in 2011, when only a few hundred people on earth held that title.
Five years ago, in 2015, a reporter asked me to comment on a piece that predicted there would be no need for CDOs by 2020. I disagreed.
Well, here we are in 2020 – and new hires of CDO continues at a fervid pace!
As you may recall from the January Chief DIGITAL Officer JOBS Update that we emailed last week, new Chief DIGITAL Officers were hired at Bayer, Chubb, Cognizant, McDonalds, Microsoft, Panera Bread, Sainsbury’s, and many more.
And as you can see by today’s January Chief DATA/ANALYTICS Officer Jobs Update, new Chief DATA Officers were hired last month at Dentsu, Carat, the States of California and Vermont, among many others.
Congratulations to all new CDOs and CAOs, and welcome to the Club!
