This summer, Caroline Carruthers, Peter Jackson and Collibra are launching the “Chief Data Officer Summer School”.
This is your invitation to apply for one of the free, limited seats.
If you are in the role of a data leader navigating through unchartered territory, looking to understand your position better and seeking guidance from peers and a community of data enthusiasts, this program is for you.
The Chief Data Officer Summer School will provide unparalleled hands-on tutoring and enablement for data leaders. The summer school brings to class (online and in-person) the content, guidance and best practices from the renowned book, The Chief Data Officer’s Playbook, written by Caroline and Peter.
The summer school will be delivered as online web classes every two weeks, beginning Thursday June 28th and concluding on Thursday September 20th. There will be three in-person events in London and New York throughout July, August and September.
Participation is free and by application. Apply by registering your interest here.
Registration is now open and will close on June 22nd. Please note that registering your interest to participate in the Chief Data Officer Summer School does not confirm your place. Your registration will be reviewed and accepted subject to applicability and availability.
Carruthers and Jackson & Collibra
As the leader in data governance, Collibra helps organizations maximize the value of their data. Collibra is purpose-built to address the gamut of data stewardship, governance, and management needs of the most complex, data-intensive industries. Collibra automates data governance and management to quickly and securely deliver trusted data to the users who need it.
Caroline Carruthers is a ridiculous optimist whose natural curiosity never stops. She was the first Group Director for Data Management for the Lowell Group and previously was Network Rails first Chief Data Officer but has been a data cheerleader for more years than she can remember. Caroline is a strong advocate of getting the basics right and the KISS principle despite being a complete geek when it comes to any form of technology.
Peter is passionate about data and about how data can drive innovation to transform organisations. He was the first Head of Data at the Pensions Regulator and then went on to be the first Head of Data at Southern Water. Peter is driven by a strategic approach to data and believes strongly in the value of demonstrating the 'art of possible' and expanding colleagues' understanding about data management, data technologies, data science and data governance.
